PDYSA Code of Conduct

The objective of PDYSA  shall be to firmly implant the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and respect for authority, others, and selves to the Children of our community.  To achieve this goal, PDYSA, WILL NOT TOLERATE actions of managers, coaches, assistant coaches, parents, or spectators that are egregious to the league.  Any person (this includes anyone associated with your child) found in violation of the following may lose the right to attend PDYSA events for the season.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED:
1. Intoxication at any PDYSA event.
2. Parent/Fan verbal abuse directed at Umpires, Players, Managers, Coaches, Spectators, and League Officials.
3. Unsportsmanlike conduct, Grandstand managing, and/or Umpiring.
4. Negative criticism of Umpires, Players, Managers, Coaches, Spectators, or League Officials.
5. No Tobacco products in the dugouts, on the playing fields, or in the bleacher/seating areas.

VIOLATIONS TO BE HANDLED AS SUCH:
1. Verbal warning to Manager, Coach, or Team Representative
2. Ejection of offender AND Manager (Head Coach) . Mandatory 1 game suspension
3. Upon ejection, if violator fails to leave the park in 8 minutes, the offending team, will forfeit their game, with no make-up date, Manager (Head coach) will serve a 2 game suspension, and further, aggravated refusal to leave or  returning to park at anytime on offending day, will result in  law enforcement being called.

ALL violations of this policy shall be reviewed by the PDYSA Board, who will determine if further disciplinary action is warranted

.PDYSA reserves the right to keep and review history on any and all violators of the above policies.
